Imagination Library of Wichita County

Since 2001, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has put free books in the hands of young children across the nation. We now have an Imagination Library in our community. If you live within Wichita County, you can receive free books mailed to your home each month.

Eligibility Requirements

From birth through their 5th birthday, local children are eligible to enroll in the program. Their parent of guardian must live within the Imagination Library of Wichita County service area, which includes all zip codes within Wichita County.

About the Program

Children enrolled receive a new, age-appropriate, hard cover book sent to them at their home each month. The program is offered to families at absolutely no cost and is administered by the North Texas Area United Way. The books you receive from the Imagination Library are a free gift to the children. All you have to do is read to your children. This program provides parents, older brothers and sisters, grandparents, babysitters and others an opportunity to read, discuss, and enjoy books together with the young child in their lives.
